Jazz Trumpet Artist Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson Scott Wilson is a Gerhard Baier Trumpet Artist, founder of the on-line Jazz Education Store and Assistant Professor in Jazz at the University of Florida.  Wilson has diverse international performance credits and has served as Musical Director for Universal Studios Japan, consultant for Limelite Productions in Singapore, staff composer for Grand Link World in Qingdao, China, consultant for Walt Disney’s “Magic Music Days” jazz workshops and has been a featured jazz trumpet soloist for Tokyo Disney Sea and Universal Studios Japan. Click here for an expanded biography.

Percussionist Kenneth Broadway

Ken Broadway Kenneth Broadway has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Spoleto Festival, and with symphonies in Florida, Georgia, Iowa, South Carolina, and South Dakota. As a performer, composer,and presenter, he has appeared at various conferences and symposiums throughout North America, Europe and Australia. His compact disc with the LYNX Duo (Music for Saxophone and Percussion) is available on the Mark Custom Recording label, and he is featured on other recordings on the Mark and Capstone labels. Veena Artist Meera Sitharam

Meera Sitharam Meera Sitharam grew up surrounded by south Indian classical music and musicians in a traditional temple town in southern India. At the age of 15 she became a graded All India Radio artist and continued radio and live public performances throughout her undergraduate years studying Engineering in India. After graduate school in Madison, WI, Meera and her husband moved to UF as faculty members 10 years ago. She serves as faculty advisor for two student organizations: Asha for Education (partnering with grassroots education NGOs in India), and SPICMACAY (Society for promotion of Indian classical music among youth) and is active with the India Cultural and Educational Center (ICEC) and CHiTra (UF Center for the Study of Hindu Traditions).
